My almost five month old has been stuffy recently. With my daughter, we used all the standard OTC meds, but after becoming more informed, I realize now that wasn't such a good thing.

So in lieu of stuff like tylenol and vicks in the vaporizer, what are natural things to help ease the stuffiness and pain in babies?

take tons of vitamin C yourself so that there will be more in your breastmilk. the best form is sodium ascorbate, which is very hard to find in stores but can be bought online, I buy mine from Bronson labs. in cases of severe illness you can mix a pinch of it with breastmilk and give it straight to the baby, but usually it's fine just to up your own dosage.

steam (like in the bathroom while the hot shower runs) can help decongest. making sure there aren't too many clothes or blankets can help prevent fever but overall, fever is a good way for the immune system to help kill off the virus. good luck!
