Anyone, say, order a bunch of larges only to order mediums only to order smalls! NO kidding! Joey went from being in the 90% for weight to the 60% while getting taller, so we are actually in *gasp* smalls!!! This is getting expensive! I guess the moral of the story is to NEVER EVER get rid of your smalls, and don't pack them up at, say, MIL's house! On this note, which wool covers/soakers are small but have a good rise? TIA Heidi

wow, nope, never had one go from largest to smalls. my first went from larges to mediums and my second has just recently gone from mediums to smalls. she was 75% for weight for a while and is down to between the 10th and 25th%. i already sold all my smalls too and now i'm buying them back.

wow, I dont think my DS would ever fit in a small no matter how much he slimmed down, you cant change their rise and he is in a m/l for his rise, so I hope that never happens to us, LOL

How annoying it must be, LOL

ah, well in my experience you can change their rise because somehow dd's shrank. she outgrew the smalls in the rise so i sold them thinking we'd never need them again. now as she's thinning her rise is shrinking too. not sure how that works, but apparently it does, at least for her.

Oh, this issue is driving me crazy. It hasnt happened yet but Eliza needs a lot of new diapers. I was looking at ordering some LHC fitteds but she's right at the top end of the medium weight range. She has some large LHC AIO's that fit on the tightest snaps but they are a little pouffier than I would want fitteds to be kwim? I'd like the fitted and covoer to be close fitting and trim, but will she grow out of them quickly, or will she grow up but not out? What to do, what to do? Buy both?

If nothing else its a good excuse to buy a new stash! But this CD'ing caper aint no cheaper than disposables. I'd just broken even by my calculations and now I need to start all over again. If she's so inconsiderate as to toilet train before she's 3, I think I'll actually be out of pocket.

This is why we have now LHC in DD's stash. She was over 18-lbs when she was 6-mos old and was just over 20-lbs at her 15-month appt today. I don't like the 10-20 and 20-30 lb sizes since my babies seem to spend most of their diapering days right in between. I prefer a 15-25 lb or so size. Good luck deciding what to get!!

Well, I don't know what LHC's sizing says, but my son is 28-30lbs, 34.5 inches tall and can wear a medium or a large. Large is on tightest snaps and poofier, just like you said. (BTW these are aio's). The medium fits on the second or third tightest snaps. He is 18 months and has plenty of time left in mediums.
