No one in our house likes yogurt and I had a quart of raw yogurt so... I made cream cheese and whey. The whey I can use up no problem. What to do with the cream cheese? I would like to use it raw. Anyone have any favorite recipes? Dips? Whatever?

Roasted veggie spread is good. Slice some onions and whatever other veggies you have (carrots, squash, peppers, garlic, etc.) into pieces of somewhat even thickness, toss with oil and salt, roast in a medium oven until very tender and slightly carmelized, then whiz in a food processor with the yogurt cheese until smooth. Or you can just add some salt and whatever herbs and spices you like to the yogurt cheese for an herb dip/spread.

Oh man, that stuff never lasts around here. We use it instead of butter on bread with honey... um... and occasionally eat a spoonfull... ommmmomomom
:

It also makes the best carrot cake topping ever.

If you like sweet, try flavoring it with your favourite flavors... like lemon zest, ginger, cinnamon and honey & using it as a spread.

I also may or may not have experimented with spinning it with some cocoa powder & honey & pasting it on strawberries...
Seriously though! SO good!

If I could keep a larger quantity around here (which clearly does not happen) it would make a delicious cheesecake, I'm sure.

I usually have it for breakfast with either maple syrup or honey. I usually don't have enough left to make all the other yummy things like:

dips
salad dressings
sandwich spreads
baked potato topping
bagel spreads
cheesecake
Lemon Yogurt Cream or
Tzatziki (but I try real hard to save some for that.)

In fact, I usually don't even eat the yogurt anymore before straining it. (Plus, I need all that whey for all my other recipes.)
