So we ahve been using just prefolds, and that was working great, but they are not anymore. Kai can get them off, and we are just not feeling the love anymore. I would like to get some fitteds, snaps, because he can pull off the velcro.

I don't know what to get though. He is around 20 pounds, tall, with 10 inch thighs and a 16 inch waist. I would like to get one size ones, because while I have saved a little bit of money up, we are really not in the money, and it is difficult to buy, especially with the exchange rate. But, otoh, I have never tried a onesize, and don't know what to think.

Absorbancy is not too much of an issue, he is not too heavy of a wetter, except at night. So I'd like to get something more absorbant for night time use, I was thinking KHW.

I just bought a Berry patch off of the TP, and a new Muttaqin os to try. I am interested in stripes or solids, hand/dip dye or natural. I don't like prints.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to have to stalk, and I don't care too much about hyenaness, I just want good easy to get diapers that I don't have to get a custom slot or spend 5 days at the computer to get.

Please?!

If Kai can get off velcro, it won't be long until he figures out snaps. Seriously, Vinny figured out snaps within a week after figuring out velcro. What's been working for us are soakers with drawstrings that can be double knotted, or my favorite, a pull up Wool-On from Little Bums . Changing from a prefold to a fitted, or fitted velcro to fitted snaps won't do you much good if he's wanting to take the dipes off.

Well, for us, Libby figured out velcro at 11 months and at 18 months we almost ALWAYS keep the diaper on if it is snapped
Velcro is off in seconds, snaps stay on 99% of the time!

I would get a variety.... and try them out before you invest in a lot. I bought something like 40 Motherease Onesize and while we *really* liked them, about 3-4 weeks ago, she started peeing WAY too much for it..... and we have had to buy ALL new dipes.

I am a big fan of Pipsqueak

I really like my GrowingGreens. The only thing is, they only come in natural. No colors or prints or anything. If you don't mind that, you can email Ashley at email: [email protected] and last I checked she was selling 2nds for 5 for $45 with free shipping. I would like to add the one thing I don't like about the SugarPeas (and I don't have the sidesnaps so I don't know if they are the same) is that the soaker snaps on at the back of the babies bottom. To me it would be really uncomfortable laying down on those snaps if you kwim. There are like 4 of them back there. HTH

Well I'm in the middle of a stash conversion myself! I like to keep Nathan in really trim low rise diapers and he's getting close to growing out of them so I'm starting to experiment a little with larger sizes (aka mediums).

Bikini Cut Cuddlebuns fit well with the tummy panel folded down if you don't mind the internal soaker (some days I do, some days I don't).

Little Caboose size 1's rock my world but that's totally hyena! The same goes for small and medium Elbees.

Other than those small fireflies were really working well but we are on the final snap setting so I have a medium on the way.

Infant Sellin Threads fit awesome but she's still closed sadly.

Low Rise Earth Seedlings side applix is also a really cute fit but she's closed right now too.

Small SugarPlumBaby's were fitting well but I had one come that was inconsistent with previous work and the woven made another one a bit snug so I'm giving up on those for another 6 months.. then I'll try them again in mediums.

Small Bottom Bumpers give plenty of room to grow all the way around but are also hyena.

Small Dewdrops are adorable on Nathan but I can't find any more.

I'll keep thinking... I've also tried a ton of stuff so if you think of one you want to ask about feel free, I might even have pics on Nathan! lol

If I am not mistaken, Celestial Baby will be stocking some hand dyed, SS fitteds soon. They are a great price, fit very well and are very absorbent. I love mine--she even has organics.

Jenn, Sadly enough I like them so much, I buy the girl ones too. I have them in purples and all the girl prints a boy could love

You are right they are great. I hate to ever part with one. I have a surfboard applique coming that I simply am in love
with. I hope she stocks those hand dyed ones soon, my Paypal has been waiting for them

Okay, well maybe I'll try one and see how it fits on Kai.

I agree on the bigger waist, last night Daddy put on a prefold (too loose) and a wool soaker (not tied properly) and Kai was motering around with a plumbers butt!

How did Berry patch fit on Nathan, Jenn?
