excuse me if this has been asked already. i'm new to MDC and didn't see anything posted recently.<br><br>
so, what did you have in your birth kit? this will be my first homebirth and i need some ideas on what i should start to put together. my midwife will provide all the medical items but i need to get together my comfort items. i'd love to see what you have in your kit.

I can't remember it all, but a few things that were particularly nice to have on hand were my old robe, lots of mango juice and a straw to drink it with, a crockpot for warm compresses, and a camera with fresh batteries and an empty memory card. Once I was in labor, I didn't pay any attention to what the MWs were doing with all the other stuff on the list!
