If my mom hadn't been more stubborn than my dad, he was going to name me Brandy.<br><br>
They planned to name me Alexandra but I "didn't look like one." If anyone knows what an Alexandra looks like, please fill me in.<br><br>
Besides that, they wanted to name me Peregrine, which I think is in a Hobbit book, right?<br><br>
Then my mom watched a <a href="http://polish.imdb.com/title/tt0067380/" target="_blank">sucky romance movie</a> on TV and took a liking to the name of the protaganist.<br><br>
That was the beginning of my troubles. A week later my placenta abrupted and I fought my way hypoxically into the world, bearing the name of a character from a Jim Backus movie.<br><br>
I mean Lord, Jim Backus. A Jim Backus movie. No wonder I love MST3K.<br><br>

Mom wanted to named me Roberta (Bobbie) Jean. If I'd been a boy, I would have been Harry Jey, Jr. Thank GOD dad had his way. No offense to any Robertas, but I really hate that name.

If I had been a boy, I'd have been Christopher. My mom wanted to name me Caroline, apparently, but bio dad won out. I'm glad. I like my short, simple name.

My mom wanted to name me Mary if I was a girl, or Matthew if I was a boy. My dad did not like the name Matthew as it had bad associations for him. He already had a daughter named Mary, so my mother named me after an aunt instead of her mother. Which is why my name is Amy. I'm not sure if they ever decided on a boy's name. My little sister would have been Jason.

i was suppose to be Kiki Leilani (my dad was stationed in hawaii when i was born). my mom's weird reason for not naming that was she was trying to picture me as some high executive and people not taking me seriously bc my name was Kiki!<br><br>
