My sister is having #2 very soon, and I'm having trouble thinking of gift things for her. I am wrapping up blankets and burp cloths I made into a diaper cake shape. I just want a few things to add to it, but I don't want to add pacifiers or such. We are close and every thing I can think of she wouldn't want/need.
She ap's, will tanden nurse, and have the baby at a local birth center. Her dh will be able to spend the first 2 weeks home. What would you like to find in a gift basket?

A bottle of Champagne of course!LOL!
Hmmm... some lavendar sachets,
some nice bottled water,
a heating pad,
a book about tandem nursing?,
Pj's nursing or otherwise,
slippers,
fuzzy socks,
a massage gift certificate,
some fruit and fruit dip( cream cheese and marshmallor fluff kind)

if you're thinking of what to get for the new baby, I'd recommend no blankets, or clothes, since in my case I've plenty of those. I'd suggest other items, like baby-proofing things (all babies become toddlers).
