I love reading about other people's meals!!!

We were going to bake a ham, but one of our guests hates ham. My mom suggested a turkey, but 2 or 3 people groaned at that suggestion, so we are doing a clam bake, on fresh pasta. Plenty of garlic, a creamy sauce... oh man
: I'm also adding scallops and prawns! This is happening on Saturday night, so in my mind it isn't easter so....

We are also doing brunch on sunday morning! I love breakfast food!

We'll be having "flame crafted" ham, also a roast chicken(I don't like ham)
mashed potatoes, candied yams, green veggie to be determined
homemade noodles, rolls, olives, fruit salad,
and deviled eggs.

For dessert I'm making a coconut cake and an oreo cheesecake
My girls will probably make jello jigglers too

DD is gluten and dairy free for the moment, so we've planned around that. For brunch we'll have a leek frittata, bacon, homefries and fruit. Easter dinner will be lamb, potatoes, whatever vegetable looks good at the market tomorrow and sorbet.

We're gluten/dairy free as well and I looked everywhere and couldn't find a corn-free ham. Pork is one of the meats both DS and DD2 can have, so I'm going with a slow cooked pork roast. Sweet potatoes roasted with maple syrup, bacon, and onions. Probably squash or broccoli. Maybe a fruit salad. And a coconut custard pie for dessert (just did the first trial of a new recipe tonight). I'm still trying to think of a fun new side dish, and I'll have to make a separate dessert for DS since he can't have eggs (and the pie is dairy/gluten/soy/corn free, but not egg free).

We haven't done an Easter dinner in years. We prefer a brunch type meal, served after church, around 1pm. This year we're making a goat cheese and spinach strata with applewood smoked turkey sauage, fresh fruit and fruit dip and homemade pastries (muffins and scones).

Me, too!

We are going OUT to eat! We always eat at the Chinese restaurant on Easter Sunday.

I love this holiday. I don't have to cook.

Eggless asparagus quiche with a fillo crust, strawberry-arugula salad with a cracked pepper balsamic dressing, a crusty bread, chilled asparagus with a savory lemon dip, and strawberry shortcakes with cashew cream.

We're going to my parents' house. My dad is making ham and will try some sort of lamb for the first time (he doesn't like it, but apparently my brother is very anxious for some).

Side dishes will probably be sauerkraut, sauteed asparagus, and cabbage noodles (cabage sauteed until really brown and cooked, then some pasta mixed in - so good!).

I'm making a lemon cake, which I'll serve with strawberries and whipped cream.

Salmon. Don't know what to have with it or how I'll cook the fish. All this talk of asparagus makes me want to go looking for some. Nobody else eats it but me, but what the heck, I'll be the one doing all the work, I may as well prepare the veg that I enjoy most. Peach blueberry crisp for dessert with whipped cream.

growing up we always had leg of lamb, but my husband hates lamb. This year we are having turkey, because it sounded really good to me when I saw them on special at the market. I will roast the turkey, make mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans sauteed in garlic and olive oil, and green salad. And, you can't forget the homemade rolls!

For dessert I am making a chocolate cake with white frosting.
