I'm a little cconfused right now, and am looking for some insight from you wise mamas. My dd is 15 mo & we night weaned about a month ago (she still nurses 4-5 times a day). I thought something was going on a few weeks after, but no af yet. For the past 2 days my boobs are KILLING me. I took a pregnancy test on Tues (one of the strips), and it was neg. Do you think I could be pregnant, or ovulating, or just nuts? We went through 9 months of icky infertility treatments to have dd, so I'm PRAYING I get pregnant w/out interventions this time. Any thoughts <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br>

<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/hug.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="hug"> I've been feeling like something should be happening, either BFP or PPAF for many months now (dd just turned 2) but still neither. I've wasted lots of $$ on pg tests because I convince myself there's a chance. I guess maybe our bodies are gearing up for <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/af.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="aunt flo"> ?<br><br>
I guess that wasn't too helpful, but I hope you are pregnant or are able to get pregnant easily this time around!

Was the other test positive? You said one was negative, if the other one was positive, then you are pregnant. You can not have a false positive, but you can have a false negative. I've read this many times in many different books, so I'm assuming it is true. Wait another week or 2 and take another one. But if one said positive, then you, I'm pretty sure are pregnant. Good luck. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/pos.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="positive"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/champagne.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="champagne"><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/thumb.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="thumbs up">

Thanks mamas. Yes, it's VERY frustrating. I just wish I knew what the heck is going on! No af yet (although I started having cramps yesterday), but also <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/neg.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="negative"> on Sat.
