Does anyone else have a wish list or registry working for the baby? What's on it? I have a list going on thethingsIwant.com. So much fun to find stuff and add! For me, it may end up being just my own "shopping list," but I like having it all in one spot, regardless. There are some things that we'll need that aren't on here (like diapers I need to order directly through a friend), but at least it's a good sampling of what we're looking at.

So share your list so we can see your great ideas, too! Here's mine:

http://www.thethingsiwant.com/heathe...%20new%20baby/

mine is a work in progress, but I think I might switch to your website for my list! I like how very organized it is

http://jennifersbirthjourney.blogspo...d-time-is.html

what a good idea!

One of you needs to go buy this:
https://www.fluffymail.com/ccp51/med...gerielion2.jpg
from fluffymail.com. I bought the giraffe one already, or I'd snag it.

Hmm, well I don't have a websit list, but I have a list in my head.

I would like...

1 Moby wrap orange or black (for when my other one is in the wash and for some color variety)

1 stroller for two kiddos (I saw one I really liked at the zoo the other day, I can't remember the name of it but it looked really great!!)

1-3 months of help 2 or 3 days/week (postpartum doula or a really great nanny would be even better)

1 car seat (Britax)

I think we already have pretty much everything else, but I'm sure I'll think of more.

I need a few diapers, a P&T E3 stroller with doubles attachment and rain cover and fleecy liner, and a minivan.

Little stuff, right? :

I've got a lot of stuff already having two DC. There are a few things I'd like though:

1) Portable baby swing so I can take it from room to room.

2) Small and medium diapers. Haven't decided which kind yet. Looking at the Kissaluvs and Swaddlebees. Can't decide on size either. My babes have been 8 and almost 10 lbs so I'm thinking size 1 for starters. Probably bummis covers.

3) SLINGS!! At least one hotsling, one ring sling and a MT. Probably going for a Babkhawk MT..

4) Another dresser!

5) A few clothes depending on sex and season. I'll be pretty much covered for a boy and the seasons won't match up for a girl!

wow, I haven't really thought much beyond cloth diapers, a couple of different kinds of slings/wraps, and a car seat. I know we're going to need a crib and stuff eventually (I'm planning on mainly cosleeping, but the baby will probably nap in the crib) I just haven't thought about most of it.

I know I DON'T want pacifiers, disposable diapers, bottles, or anything pink.

Ha! A friend gave me a whole bag full of pacis for dd - I took them back and got a big ol' store credit!! Good luck avoiding the pink if you have a girl. It is EVERYWHERE!

As for our baby list, I found a great carrier for multiples and a double nursing pillow at rummage sales, so now all we need is a double jogging stroller, maybe some boy clothes, and some newborn cloth diapers. All of which, other than the diapers, I am hoping to find at garage sales this summer!

we need a new carseat, eventually a new high chair~ I'd passed mine on to a friend and would really like a new one at this point. I'd a maclaren stroller for much later, a hot sling, a new maya, some new fitteds and covers. I'd love a nice chair/glider, I've got a wooden rocker but covet those pretty pottery barn types , hey you said a wish list .
I will be frank. At the top of my list is a king sized mattress. I'll get a new mattress before birth but I'm pretty certain it will be a queen. Our current mattress is 17 years old.
I'd also love a new Baby quilt made by my sissy: .

-A fleece pouch sling and a MT
-Cloth diapers in small and medium (PFs, Covers, a few pockets and/or AIO's)
-a double stroller, most likey the sit and stand or joovy caboose
-a new carseat for older DS (Britax Regent)
-clothes if it is a girl, for a boy I will need a few things but not much.
-some cloth wipes (a friend is making them right now)
-some wooden and cloth teether toys (we had a bunch of plastic garbage for DS and we are trying to transition away from as much plastic as possible)

I don't want; all that Johnson and Johnson crud, disposable diapers, that kind of junk.

Nah, although I did get my Medela Breast Shells at a BRU when I lived in San Diego and they really saved my sore nipples!

Most of the "big stuff" that I got with my first kid/s were from Salvation Army, etc: cribs (twins), bouncers, swings, dressers. And I got some stuff on Craigslist.

As far as the rest, I don't think BRU carries the "crunchy" stuff I want: cloth dipes, mobywrap, wool breast pads, postpartum mama cloth. Ya know?

I registered at BRU for my first and for a few things for my second (like a mobile, new bottles for pumping and pumping accessories). This time, there's really not much there that I want - though I do have a swing and rocker/bouncer on my list to replace the ones we had with the boys. I find these days that even the clothes they carry don't really appeal to me - I guess I'm getting a bit snobby in my old age!

I think it's a perfectly legitimate place to register as a first time mama, though, and it's an easy place for people to find and get stuff. I do wish they had more of the things I really wanted!

i hate asking for stuff so i keep adding things then taking things off but it is at http://www.thethingsiwant.com/helmzu...%20the%20baby/

if anyone looks at it tell me if it is way to long or anything i'm not ready to show it to friends or family. we don't know anyone with kids so we aren't expecting to be given hand me downs which is to bad but i guess since it is the first baby on both sides of the family and among al our friends people may be excited to buy stuff.

I want some robeez, one of those ERGO baby carriers, and more CD supplies. I have most of the things I need. Of course if this one is a boy, I would need boy clothes too...

I noticed you live close by me I'm in North Bend. There is a neighborhood garage sale this Friday , Saturday on Snoqualmie Ridge. One of those huge communities popping up here. If your interested let me know I'll send you the info. There should be good stuff there.

Is there a way we can snag things from other's wish lists while creating our own? I'm not really into online shopping or browsing, but I'd gladly let some of you do it for me! You've picked out some really nice stuff. I love all the colors that aren't pink!

I won't be registering, all I really want is a sling or wrap, still have to decide what kind though (printed off the pages of responses I got here when asking for suggestions, now to decide and shop!) We'll see after the baby comes if we need a sit and stand stroller, most DS doesnt use his at all, but he may decide he needs to when the baby is in it And if I find out on Friday it's a girl, well, she can wear some of DS's clothes, but I will want a few girly things!

Other than that, I really need nothing. Some new nursing bras for sure.

I'd kind of like one of those sit n stand strollers. Not sure if Thomas would dig it or not, but they look cool.

I'm just getting into cloth diapering, so I'll slowing be stashing some of those too. No one will buy them for me, that's for sure! I love my family, but they think my non-mainstream ways are pretty darn weird.
