This past weekend I got out a legal pad and let the nesting instinct rip...Here's part of my list. What's on yours?

HOME STUFF:
-plant something in the flower beds
-a thorough house-cleaning, steam-vac floors
-declutter sweep, room by room
-make a Goodwill/donate pile (or store stuff in attic)
-clean out fridge/freezer, begin to stock freezer meals
-stock pantry items
-organize the garage
-clean washing machine residue
-order our wedding album before first child arrives
:

BABY STUFF:
-order HB kit, buy additional supplies on MW list
-wash/prep diapers, wipes, changing area, diaper bag
-find a changing table?
-get rechargeable batteries
-assemble video camera stuff
-install the car seat
-find a pediatrician
-pay MW no later than 36 weeks
-go through baby stuff and see what we still need
-make a list of my birth affirmations
-finish reading PG books
-put important numbers near phones
-make lists of easy things "helpers" can do while visiting
-make general grocery lists of brands I like, etc, for "helpers"

My list is still a work in progress but I think the main things are...

Home:

Deep clean everything
Declutter and organize (still not done from the move-in in Feb)
Donate and get rid of stuff that's just taking up space
Stock the freezer full of quick meals for after baby
Load up on healthy snack foods and groceries for after baby
Get an extra mattress and boxspring for the guest room before we have guests

Baby:
Finish reading a few books
Finish up my childbirth classes in time to utilize for delivery
practice squatting
Wash and organize baby stuff
Finish the nursery even though he won't be sleeping in there
Wash the covers on his bouncy seat and swing
Get a breast pump
Come up with a game plan for everyone attending the birth and who's doing what
Figure out how we're going to get DF up here in time
Come up with a people to call list
Pack my bag now that we're having a birth center birth
Get a carseat and install
Go through diapers and clothes and see what else we need
Get my diaper stash prepped for a little baby bottom

Get postpartum supplies (pads, sitz bath, etc)
Interview the pedi I'm interested in

We actually got a ton done on the list this weekend!

So, here's mine:

Home:
Very thorough cleaning
Replace kitchen sink/other repairs (getting done tomorrow)
Clean out closets and other hidden storage spots (done yesterday)
Paint baby's room (in progress)
Finish flooring stairs (must kick hubby in the butt to get this done, but he's made progress this weekend)
Assemble baby's room stuff (minus the bassinet, we're done!)

Other
Finish yard brick work (started)
Mulch (mostly done)
Finish sewing baby carrier
Finish baby blankets
Finish crossstitched monogram

Home:
Clean and organize "the office" (several boxes that live on top of the washer and dryer bc we have no "office")
Clean the sewing room
Deep clean 3 closets
Take the thrift store box to the thrift store
Potty train ds (20 mo)

Baby:
Get out tiny clothes and wash them
:
Order more diaper stuff

Make a couple blankets

Finish sewing heirloom gown
:

Not that much left to do. YAY yay yay! Well, so the potty training may take till Baby comes but the rest... should get my rear in gear and get it done.

Hmm... most of the stuff we need to do we CAN'T do until our houseguest leaves May 9th.. which isn't to far off!!! Not that I have minded having him here, he is actually nice to have around, but he is in our 3rd bedroom which is where we are moving DS1 to... BLAH!! We need to...

- clean out 3rd bedroom
- move furniture around in Trevor's new room
- decorate T's room
- pull out and wash baby clothes
- pull out and wash newborn diapers
- order double stroller
- buy a few small things (possibly a few more small covers and NB dipes...)

That is it... I just can't do anything for the next couple weeks!!
We just moved, so basically it involves finishing unpacking, organizing, decorating, and setting things up. I am on a smaller timeline as DH starts working out of town in less than a month!
Household:
new carpet in playroom
paint playroom
redo bathroom floor
paint bathroom
shampoo carpets
clean out basement
clean out porch
finish nursery

Baby stuff:
wash carseat
wash diapers
wash all blankets
wash crib bedding ( even though she won't sleep in the crib at night )
finish knitted blanket

Other:
make and freeze dinners
finish pting DS

I have very little to get done besides a little painting (doesn't have to be done) and cleaning.

Mostly cleaning, my mom is coming to stay for a few weeks to help out & even at 35 I'm stupidly paranoid/anal about having the place spotless when she shows up.
The dog hair & cockatoo dust just make me bonkers.

*wash all the nb dipes
*clean the house (that will happen a few times between now and baby)
*prepare some frozen meals for the pp period
*apply snaps to my pp pads (waiting for my snap press to arrive)
*make a few alcohol and water ziploc packs and freeze (that makes for a nice, flexible ice pack for after the birth)
*finish knitting the baby's blanket
*finish sewing cloth wipes

i've been doing everything else over the last week: getting all birth supplies gathered, cleaning the spare room in case i want to birth in there or the midwives need a place to rest, washing and organizing all the nb clothes/blankets, tie dying onesies, and sewing all my cloth pads.
liss, what size alcohol/water ice packs are you making? sandwich baggie?
-finish moving/unpacking (get empty boxes out of baby room)
-get AC or windows fixed in car so me or baby does not suffocate in the 100 degree heat this summer
-schedule/plan baptism
-figure out health insurance options for when mine through work runs out
-make or buy postpartum pads
-order a few more diapering supplies
-buy a mattress (we have a water bed and as a compromise to help me be OK with part-time work for next year, which I wasn't originally planning on, I decided to get a regular mattress and try cosleeping, to make up for any lost nursing during the day if baby decides to hold out for the real thing when I am gone for six 2.5-3 hr chunks per week)

I have a nice long list, but I honestly am not feeling nest-y at all
I think the problem is that I'm completely exhausted. Anyone else? You all seem so motivated! I'm jealous!!

I'm 34 weeks and my DH is going abroad for work next week for 10 days. So, I'm hoping I get on a kick while he's away.

I'm right there with ya!
I'm 32 weeks and have a list that could reach down the street. Just have no energy to even want to think about it.

I hope you do get that kick while your DH is away, and if you do, could you send some this way? Pretty please
