I have nothing that I want to knit right now... seriously!! I'm trying to force myself to finish sheldon, and i have no money to buy yarn right now, so i'll have to work on using up some i already have. I was wondering what you all are working on, maybe I'll get inspired.

I'm working on some longies for a friend's baby right now. Just started the first leg last night, and they are looking so cute! I really want to make myself something soon. Some socks maybe, but all the yarn and pattern choices, yikes. I'd also love a sweater, light weight cardigan maybe?

Have fun picking a project! I look forward to everyone's ideas!!

-the knitting pure and simple free baby cardi, size 6 months. I frogged the baby yoda sweater and used the yarn to start this instead. That yarn just had a hard time telling me what it wanted to be!
-ltk vest. this has been around a while, it was supposed to be a size 12 months, but my guage was off so badly it will fit a newborn/3 months or so! Just needs neck and armhole edging.

Sitting close to the needles but not yet cast on:

Another half dozen fancy dishcloths for my sister's wedding box
felted coasters
felted hotmits and hotpad set
hat for my other sis
mason dixon baby kimono and bibs

I'm excited to finally have some inspiration back in my knitting!

LOL I have a bunch of stuff OTN right now.

I have the afghans for afghans child's vest (From "Knitting for peace" which I got for Christmas ) almost done, just need to crochet the edging. This will be for my DD1. I did it in Noro silk garden in a gold and purple colorway.

I have a long ribbed cardigan on the needles for me, in a navy alpaca and silk from knit picks. It is so soft and luscious, but I have been working and working on it and am only about 1/20th of the way done. Wah.

I have LTK flirty skirty for DD3 on the needles in knit picks shine in a cornflower blue.

I have deconstructed 4 wool sweaters to reclaim various yarns. One is a cotton/viscose, two are wool/bunny wool, and one is 100% merino. I am still waiting to gather up the energy to unravel the 5th, which is cashmere.

I just finished a LTK halter top for DD1 and when I am done with flirty skirty, will do another for her.

I have all my stuff in a bag which I cart around to whatever place I am hanging out. The sweater for me is really boring so I do a few rows every night and then switch to more fun stuff. I do the unraveling while the kids take their bath.

I also want to start the kenobi sweater for Mr. D, from the recent knit scene magazine. Oy, when will I have all the time to do these projects?

Naughty Dingo, it seems like it's been ages since I've seen you around. I don't think I even knew you had a new daughter to knit for . Congratulations!
I finished off a pair of picky pants a couple of nights ago. I'm doing the last touches on my item for the mystery skein swap through Yahoo, and I have yarn and needles assembled for one of Jess Hutch's bunnies, and the dinosaurs from xtreme knitting.
I have a jaywalker on the needles, but we don't talk about that much I'm using that stitch pattern for my swop piece, though, and it looks so much better in acrylic (gulp. Did I really say that?)
The next thing to be cast on is a Harry Potter scarf, though, and after that, it's going to be lace. There's an awful lot of stockingette in my immediate future, I'm looking forward to a challenge.

I've just sarted the crossover front of Magnits Blossom for my littlest dd. I started it before Christmas but got distracted by knitting gifts for my nieces then 3 scarves for a friend to give as gifts then the same friends mother gave me yarn to knit her a glamourous looking fancy yarn thing and then dh said he wanted a a scarf as everyone else had one.... His was an eternity of knit knit purl over 30 stitches but it looks great and he likes it.

I'm torn between knitting and seing because I'm a new knitter and sewing has much faster results! I cut the fabric, sew it together and its done

And Knitty's Binary scarf.

And some finger puppets to go along with Moo Baa Lalala, my daughter's current favourte book.

Natalya, the yoda sweater is supposed to be worsted weight. I think cotton would work, it's a small sweater so it won't end up heavy. Just make sure you get gauge, of course!

A cable knit sweater for ds in rich chocolate Malabrigo. It's my first cab;e project and it's coming out so well! I'm excited. I just can't decide if I want to do a pull over or a cardigan.

Up next are some Aubrey doodle pants for a friend's dd once the wool arrives. That should be any day now. Then I plan on making dd a little red riding hood cape for her birthday. She's way into dress up right now.

What pattern are you using for the socks? DD hates regular socks so I think I need to try and make her some. I just hate the idea of knitting anything on small needles. It kills my hands.
