It looks like I need to revamp our diaper stash. DD has gone from a super chubby infant to a average to thin toddler. Now her old diapers are practically falling off of her. She still has some leg chub (10-11"), but a skinny waist (15-16") and almost no hips (16-17" around the widest part). I change her frequently so absorbency isn't as important, but I really want trim. I'm tired of everyone commenting on her big, diaper bottom. So what should I try? Oh the one thing is I don't like suedecloth. It gives me the creeps so any pockets or aios need to use something other than suedecloth.

TIA!
Harleyz pockets from www.wahmarama.com

are both the trimmest of anything else I own.

According to her website she's opening back up on the 23rd. She has microfleece and suedecloth inners to choose from. I swear when ds is wearing a DD it's trimmer than a sposie, and you can't even see it when he's wearing a onesie.

If you think about it, just abotu any pocket can be trim if you stuff it light. Like I use HHs and on days around the house I use a flat diaper folded and on days we need to go out I use a prefold folded. if you get a pocket diaper and stuff it with something thin but absorbant then it will be very trim, My DS doesnt have diaper butt unless i over stuff for night or long outings when I know I wont be able to change for a while(like driving to another town).

You can always get some trim fitteds and wool soakers shorts or pants!

How about trimmer than a disposable?
Would you be up to trying a do-it-yourself diaper? I'm talking gauze flatfolds, folded oragami-style. PM me if you'd like instructions - they really are very easy! Not to mention extremely inexpensive.
Honest to goodness, they are trimmer than a disposable. Pop a nylon or PUL wrap or pull-on over the top, and you'd be good to go.

I'd have to say Bumkins AIOs, they are super duper trim! Easy to get, not too expensive, and very reliable. We love 'em!

Oh no Kristin, are your El Bees too big? You might have to send them to me! :
Daisy-Doodles and Very Baby, Very Basic AIOs are about as trim as it gets in cloth diaper land, and Disposanots too, but I know you already have some of those (and if they have that icky suedecloth you hate, I'll take those off your hands too )

Well I was going to say Wonderoos til you said no suedcloth. Beccabottoms pockets (some have fleece) are SUPER trim and I dont have an AIO but I heard they are as well.

I just ordered some ME OS which I also heard are SUPER trim.

But really I just gotta go back to the Wonderoos -- your baby has just about the same measurements as mine and the W are SO, SO trim -- under clothes it looks like he has a sposie on.

A Fuzzi Bunz stuffed with a microterry insert. Probably would fit petite toddler size. I'd say wonderoos, because they're even trimmer - but the suedecloth issue. A FB is only slightly less trim, because it doesn't have quite the bikini cut.

Yup. The elbees are currently too big. At least I think they are too big. They fall down when she wears them to the point where she has major plumber's butt and leg hole gaps. I can't decide if that's because they are too big or too small though. lol! Oh and all our disposanots have micro inners sorry.

Ideally both. Trim between the legs for a still relatively new walker. And trim bulk wise so people stop commenting on her big bottom.

Thanks again everyone!!
