What's the best mailing list/group for being 'in the know' about peace rallies in NY?

I am really hoping to get my activist groove on this summer now that DS is a little more portable and doesn't require quite so much stuff.

Does anyone have a great mailing list or yahoo group or something they belong to to find out about all the good stuff going on?

I haven't really explored this at all - just throwing it out there for all you ladies.

I get a lot of newsletters - NOW, John Kerry, some others, but don't seem to pick up the right info (or have time to read them a lot of the time).

Anyway, TIA.

I don't know where in NY you are. Google "Quakers" and you'll find a lot.
