I am actually trying to do this with breastmilk right now, as it is the most natural way to get more fat into DD's diet- she is only 2 mos old, but slow weight gain, and we are attempting to do things as healthy as possible, as i really want to avoid using higher calorie mixtures of formula if we can...
I am going to pick up a gravy separator if i can find one this time of year, but i thought some of you might have other tricks you can share for "harvesting" only the cream from the milk!!

I havent actually tried this but... I think I would let it sit and seperate and then use a turkey baster or other type of syringe to suck it up. Also... make sure YOU are getting lots of fat. I definately notice a difference in my milk based on what I eat. lots of nuts for me equals good, plentiful breast milk.

That's what I've always done. With cow milk, though, not breast milk!
