Ds12 loves "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" (Hilarious-- go watch it). He's watched it a number of times and knows ALL the dialogue and songs. The other night, he was in his room, dressed in a makeshift Dr. Horrible costume, acting it out. Every role.

So, it's memorization, and music, and drama, and literature, right?
Now I need to know how to phrase it for his next portfolio review!

Why do I feel like in a few years I'll be dropping him off at midnight showings of Rocky Horror?

I'm not sure how you have to write these things up (thank god i'm in ontario) but I would list it under english for reading and analyzing the script. Under oral communication for memorzing and repeating the script. Under drama for the obvious. I'm not sure where the music comes in....but stick it under music too. And don't forget art for the costume! back in the scary days when I taught, we did lots of this kind of cross-curriculum stuff. It made learning more fun and gave us more space to cover curriculum.
