I feel like I've heard conflicting information on the Hyland's products- especially the teething tablets and gel. Does anyone have any experience or opinions on these products?

Thanks!

I prefer Humphreys teething tablets (I get them at Walgreens), but I use the Hyland's Kid's Kit (includes several common homeopathic remedies) and the Calms Forte (that's by Hylands, right? lol). I think they work. The Calms REALLY seems to chill Dd out. And I was astonished at the efficacy of the Ferrum Phos on a sore throat I had.

It certainly can't hurt! That's why I also have Dd in a amber teething necklace most of the time, too!

Edited: I wasn't impressed with the Hylands gel, however. I didn't notice one iota of difference.

We used hylands teething tabs for DS teething, and I though it worked well until he was about 8 months old. Since then I have not noticed much effect.

I prefer single remedies. Homeopathy is fabulous for anything in my house!

The problem is the combination remedies take the top remedies for teething and put them into one product. That's fine if you need one of those, not so much if you don't. The people who say they don't work simply needed a remedy that wasn't in the combination. It is relatively easy to figure out the single remedy...but then it always works.

Verdict: couldn't hurt. However, if it doesn't help then look a little deeper.
