I am looking for super soft yarn for my way too picky little girls. I would especially like some longies. What is your favorite?

Right now our softest is a custom one I had made by BJ Marketplace. I am not sure what kind of wool she uses but it is SOOOOO soft, sort of weird but its softer than the other BJM one I got off ebay. Hmmmm....

I was going to say the same thing!!! My BJMarketplace soakers are the softest I've ever felt. And, yes, some are softer than others. My purple/white striped one is the softest.

As a second, I would say Knit in Your Pants or my Wonderful Woolies. They all seem to get so much softer as they get "broken in"

Anything made with Merino Wool should be incredibly soft. I have one marino wool soaker made by "craftier by the stitch" (ebay), and also a few lana soakers which are merino. There's nothing scratchy about merino, and IME it works just as well as fisherman's wool.

Do you have the cashmere/merino blend or the other type that just says 100% wool yarn?

I have several WAHM soakers. My softest would have to be BaaBaaBottoms! They don't even feel like wool! They are much softer then BJMarket place IMO

I'd also recommend the BJM wool soakers VERY sofy. I have 2 and they're lovely, and easy to get your hands on.

My Baa Baa Shee Shee soaker is def the softest. It's merino wool as well. After that I would say my warm heart woolies.

My Baa Baa Bottoms longies don't feel like wool at all-they're scrumptuos!

I think Jessica's wool from www.fabriconnection.com is really nice.

Our Mosaic Moon is by far the softest one we have. I love it and wish I could get more!
