I am planning to start growing some wheatgrass over the winter, but I don't have a juicer, let alone one capable of masticating wheatgrass. Can I just throw it in the blender when I make smoothies? Will this offer similar nutritional benefits to juicing it or would I be better off investing in a juicer?

Does anyone have any info or feelings about using the whole fruit (fiber/pulp, etc. as in a smoothie) vs. "juicing" with the pulp removed (but supposedly it is easier to obtain the nutrients?)??
