DS is 16 months and just got 4 molars all in 2 weeks!
He has been eyeing my raisins for some time now but the choking hazard thing has stayed with me so I haven't tried yet. Is he old enough to try them? TIA!!

Hi!! My ds is just now 14 months. He has had all four molars in for awhile. He started eating raisins--a couple at a time a couple of months ago. I thought it was too early and he was too young, but he did just fine with them. I only let him eat them in the highchair and with me watching him like a hawk, but he did great and now eats them all the time!!

My DS is 13.5 months and has been eating raisins for a few weeks (started at daycare and then my friend gave them to him unknown to me). I was worried but he has handled them very well. He eats them sitting down and only when I can watch him all the time.

Thank so much, and just in time. I gave ds some raisins this morning and he did just great! It was a relief because we are out of strawberries (his favorite) but he accepted them as a berry substitute.
