Yep - I was still wearing them up til 7 months or so, just to avoid embarrassment. They didn't leak as much as in the beginning, but it was enough to notice. I was glad that I found some good cloth pads early on so I didn't have to throw so many away.

We're at 14 mos, and I still wear breastpads. If I don't, letdown when he nurses on one side produces on the other side and makes a mess.

At least till 7 months, porpbably more like 9 months. I always had a dual let down though. The random letdowns stopped around 4 months (after going back to work for a bit), so I wasn't getting hit unknowingly after that.

The last time I really remember needing them was around 10 months or so. I know I stopped using breast pads shortly after that with no problem. The first 6 months or so were the worst though, and I had to sleep on a prefold most nights.

I had an oversupply problem, so I'm not average or anything, but my breasts leaked for I'm sure over a year - even after the oversupply problem was handled. In fact, I bet they leaked when my daughter was 2. There was a time after she'd weaned when my breasts leaked unexpectedly - I thought maybe I was pregnant but I never did find out what caused it.

Yep, been 7 months since my DD weaned and I still drip a little sometimes.

The fountain of milk soaking my shirt and bed stopped around 4 or 5 months.

I've never leaked, ever. But I know moms of toddler who still do, and even after weaning will still leak. It seems to be a very individual thing.

Mine leaked terribly (to the point of spraying through my shirt) until I started block feeding. Now they never do. At first I was afraid I wasn't producing enough milk but my ebf ds (11mo) is still a chunker.
