Looking for some hope here. I am 8 weeks tomorrow and sick, sick, sick. Nausea most of the day and night when I roll over or get up to go pee. I am struggling right now.

Do you have peak time of m/s (like 8 weeks)? Did it start to get better first and then go away? When we you feeling like yourself again?

Last pregnancy mine started getting better at 12 weeks and was feeling great by 13 weeks. I wasn't this sick though. And I didn't have a toddler. I feel depressed to think that I may have 4 whole more weeks of this
I know others have it way worse and my heart goes out to all of you.

I am thrilled to be pregnant and welcoming a baby until our family but I am not able to focus on that much of time, I am looking forward to that pleasure as well. We have only told my mom at this point as I don't want to complain to everyone when they ask me how I'm feeling. Anyhow enough rambling.

Well, sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I am almost 12 weeks and just starting to feel better - but who knows? Every pg is different so for some maybe it will leave a lot sooner?
Hope you feel better soon!

At 8+ weeks I am mostly nauseous in the afternoon and evening. Not so bad in the morning.

I'm in the June DDC, but saw this post and thought I'd weigh in. My m/s was pretty much 24/7 until around 13 weeks. But -- it was worst during week 8. It got better and better as I neared Week 13.

Oddly, I'm 18 weeks as of yesterday and somehow feeling nauseated again just yesterday and today. NOT FAIR! I have faith it will pass as mysteriously as it arrived.

My heart goes out to you, Week-8er. But hang in there and perhaps it will soon be over.

11 weeks tomorrow and my m/s is starting to let up. Smells still really bother me but I'm doing ok. I have good days and bad days. It's just depends.

I'm in week 8 also and I think I'm going to fall over any minute. I get hit with these waves of nausea all day and just want to go curl up somewhere. I want to do that right now, but I'm at work

I think that the 8 week mark is the worst! I didn't want to go anywhere, eat anything or even move!

I am just now almost hitting the 10 weeks mark and I am starting to feel a little better. It isn't a constant sickness like before, just a constant headache! I am only getting super nauseous when I smell food.

I hope it lightens up for you soon!

Great, I guess that's what I have to look forward to next week!! I just started feeling bad a couple of days ago and am 7 weeks today. Chasing around 2 little ones feeling like this is NO FUN!! At least I haven't thrown up. I'm trying to keep a good attitude and eat even though nothing sounds good (though I only feel beeter after eating). Sorry, I guess that doesn't help any. This is how it was with my first and it got better gradually over a couple of weeks and fully subsided around week 13. With #2 I felt really sick for about 2 weeks then felt fine after that. I think that happened around week 8 or so? Hope you feel better soon

I am 9 weeks and my m/s has started to get a little better. I feel best in the evenings. Mornings and afternoons are rough. I have hiccups alot, which sometimes lead to puking. I feel constantly hung over, but without the headache. I feel exhausted, unmotivated, and just plain blah. I have a short list of food I can tolerate, which sadly includes pizza, Chinese take out, and Taco Bell, but I eat only small amounts. Cantaloupe makes me happy these days. I am patiently waiting for this death-like feeling to subside because I want to sign up for a pre-natal yoga class, but I just plain feel like crap.

I hear you on the yoga. I was so happy at 4 weeks when I had energy and was working out, then the nausea came and all I do is moan to my toddler or husband, whoever will listen I cannot wait for it to pass so that I can workout again - I was so much more active the first time around and it made me feel good right up till the end so I am eager to get moving again.

I hope I am not speaking too soon

I "peaked" with my nausea at 8 weeks. Last week was godawful. I am still gagging if I overexert myself, and sometimes walking and talking at the same time makes me gaggy for some reason, but it isn't NEARLY as bad as it was last week. Today I actually feel pretty decent (I am 9w1d). I hope that means I am on the slope to feeling better! My last pregnancy wasn't anywhere NEAR this with the nausea.

Eleven weeks I think and it just keeps getting worse . . . I think this is some sort of Karma for not one single pregnancy symptom with my first baby . . .

I comes in waves and for the past few days I've felt okay in the morning when I wake up but by about 10 or 11 it's pretty bad and the evenings are the worst. Good luck to you . . . honestly, just eat what feels good right now.

Still sick here as well! 11wks, 5days. It is a bit better but still HORRIBLE at night, if you notice it is 5:50am and I am online NOT in bed.

8 weeks was definitely the worst of it for me... all day/all night. Now, just shy of 11 weeks, I feel almost human again. Still nauseaus at night (what's up with all of us feeling bad during the night?!), but not too bad. Energy is still low, but getting better. 10 weeks was a big turning point.

You're at the hardest point and it will get better! Hang in there!!

Agh, the morning sickness just blows, doesn't it?

I am 9 weeks 2 days. I feel much better this pregnancy - when pg with my DD I was nearly incapacitated with nausea, 24/7 from week 7 to week 12. This go around I feel low-grade nauseous much of the time, and hideously nauseous only about 20% of the time, so this is a significant improvement (but believe me, still yucky!!!!!!!). Last week, at 8 weeks, seemed to be the worst - I spun in my bed at night as if I'd had 15 shots of grain alcohol. I threw up at a work/breakfast meeting OUTSIDE the restauraunt in which we were all eating when my plate was set before me. (Do ya think they know? ) 9 weeks seems to have brought a slight improvement. let's hope it lasts.

The bottom line, of course, is that this pregnancy journey is so mysterious and out of our control - such an interesting variation of symptoms, even in the same woman, from pregnancy to pregnancy!

I do hope you feel better soon and that you "peaked" at 8 weeks.
