On Sunday I will be 12 weeks and depending on the program I would be entering the second tri then or when I am in my 13th week. When do you consider the beginning of the second tri?

12 weeks on Sunday too (I need to change my due date on the roll call). I was under the impression that 13 weeks starts the second trimester so it would be the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

the only reason that I ask that PregnancyFriend (Fertility Friend's sister site) states that I am in 2nd tri on Sunday. I always thought that it was 13 weeks too.

I thought it was at 14 weeks! So I guess, don't ask me! 40 divided by 3 = 13.4, so I think it would actually be a bit AFTER you hit the 13 week milestone, but when you are 14 weeks, you're definitely there!

I've heard 12 weeks and 14 weeks. I like the second trimester myself, so I call 2nd trimester 12 weeks until 28 weeks. Stretch it out as much as possible. Ergo, I am in the 2nd trimester as of this week.

When is the #*%& morning sickness going away though?

I agree.

Plus when you have hit the twelve week mark, doesn't it mark that you have completed 12 weeks and are, therefore, into your 13th week. I say that I will also be in the second tri, this week! Yeah. Now I just need to adjust my siggie
