Hello,
I've read several different estimates on when it is possible to notice Chadwick sign in the cervix (from 3 to 8 wks). What are you experiences with this? What is the earliest you've experienced? I'm asking for personal reasons by the way.
Thanks!

I hate to say it, but I've never looked for or seen the reddened, squishy cervix that is suppossedly the hallmark of pregnancy. Everyone seems to take a home pregnancy test, and no one wants an unneccesary speculum or pelvic exam.

I haven't ever looked really early but I have seen the blue and it is something unmistakeable- because vaginal tissues and the cervix are usually shades of pink --- so if you look and find a blue cervix there is your sign- but not your dating probably no more than 8 weeks

I don't look at cervixes that early in pregnancy or see Chadwick's unless it's by accident, like, a 6-8 week PP visit pap smear. In fact, the only time I've ever actually seen them is at PP paps with a pregnant (again!) mama.
