It is driving me crazy! I know it's not as bad as puking all the time, so I'm trying to keep my complaining to a minimum. But it sucks, dang it.

EVERYTHING that I eat leaves a nasty aftertaste. Chocolate chips even. (Ok, I take it back. Not everything. The chocolate soy ice cream was really good ). I thought brushing my teeth often would be a good solution, but the toothpaste leaves a gross aftertaste. Gum works, but I'm getting really tired of the air that I evidently swallow while chewing gum . lol

Anyways, if anyone knows when this will stop, I'd really appreciate you telling me.

I don't remember when it goes away, but I know it does! I carry around mints with me everywhere.

I'm not in your DDC, but when I saw the title I had to post. Oh I hated that bad taste! I had it every day for a long time...I was also very sick in the first trimester. I am 17 weeks now and I just noticed that it was gone this week. I think it very slowly started to go away at about 15-16 weeks. But hopefully you will get better sooner than I did! OMG, I don't want to be that sick again for that long...EVER!

Gross taste in my mouth too, ick. Makes me not really want to eat (but I do of course) but I'm ready for the nausea and gross taste to be done.

I'm glad it's not just me! I've been waking up in the middle of the night to brush my teeth because my mouth tastes so nasty!

15 weeks! Oh my god.

Lemon drops, peppermints, chocolate milk help (all temporarily). Citrusy stuff doesn't seem to leave as much of an aftertaste.

I find Tom's apricot toothpaste to work OK for it. Also temporary.

I have it too and it's annoying. I try sucking on candy like jolly ranchers and it helps a bit, but then even those leave a bad taste in my mouth after a little while.

I've been using Altoids mints (not the cinnamon kind) and they help temporarily too.

oohhh, I have orange flavored, non-foamy toothpaste that seems to be helping a LOT. This could be a good thing!!

I have that too. And my toothpaste is nasty and makes me nauseous. Maybe it's time to switch brands.
