My son is nearly 11yrs old and working well beyond his years in many areas at
his school (Steiner). I have many friends who homeschool and I look in awe at the work their children produce and the array of interesting areas they cover.
My son is now becoming quite involved socially with his class mates, but both my husband and I are keen for him to be homeschooled so the big question is when and how. We are in Australia and currently in 3rd term with one more term to go before the Summer break.He will be in class 6 next year. How did others make the break from school ed to home ed even if their child/children weren't neccesarily to keen on the idea.
I imagine that he feels as though he will have no more contact with his friends...any advice would be very welcome.
