I'm especially wondering what the requirements are for clothing. I got a CPSC recall listing for a recall on a child's sweatshirt because it didn't meet the flammability standards. I'm confused. I thought it was only bed clothing and loose fitting pajamas.<br><br>

All pyjamas, unless they state otherwise, have flame retardants in them, so do couches, mattresses, carpets, many curtains, furniture...<br>
and, you know, breastmilk. AHHH!!!

anything that is polyester has to have built in flame retardants as petrochemicals are extremely flammable....
