Where Are My Manners?

Howdy!

I'm BamaDude. I'm a middle-aged male (who's gagging as I type that ) with no kids of my own but who is facing the daunting prospect of becoming a step-parent for the first time.

Perhaps "step-parent" isn't the correct term, as I'm gay and my SO has several great kids from a previous marriage. In any case, I'm looking forward to having a whole bunch of new people in my life. :

In surfing the web I've read links to things posted here on several occasions and really liked what I read, so I thought I'd join and have access to the whole site.

I hope I can learn a few things from the discussions here, add some helpful input when appropriate, and make a few new friends along the way.
