Want to make sour pickles....can't find grape,oak, or cherry leaves? Anyone?

Go to the park, make sure there are weeds around (no herbicides) and far from the street and pick oak leaves from the tree. A neighbors yard would also work as long as they don't have their lawn sprayed by Chem-Lawn or some similar company.

Wasn't sure if it would work...now to find an oak tree. Don't know if I even could spot one for sure

this is what we did, picked an oak leaf from a neighbor. we never ended up using it though, which is probably a good thing since we have no idea whether these guys spray or not.
