Well, I thought I was carrying all in the front until I got a glance of myself in a full length mirror yesterday and realized my hips are huge!!!!! I used to be able to feel my hip bones but they are nice and cushy right now! I also weighed myself yesterday and I've gained 8 pounds since my last appt 3 weeks ago!
Oh well, I guess as long as I have a healthy baby, I can handle the little "extras".

Wait a minute...are you asking where I'm carrying the baby or where I'm gaining weight? Baby is relatively high, weight is mostly butt and hips. I'm up something like 20 pounds, and that is NOT all baby/placenta/fluid/blood, etc.

Well I think it's mostly belly but I've gained 10 lbs and I know it's not all baby, placenta, fluid, etc.

As for carrying the baby, she's low low low allll the time.

I'm at almost 25 weeks and still very low - most kicks are still at waist or below even though I know my uterus goes higher.
I'm at a 22 pound weight gain. I think my boobs are carrying an extra 2 pounds each!
I'm actually very obsessive about weight & calories. Someone on this board posted a link
http://www.pregnancyweekly.com/pregn...ain_chart.htm#
I put it into excel and plot my actual gain against it. I gained an average of 1.06 pounds per week in the first 13 weeks. So far in the second trimester (11 weeks) I've gained an average of .76 pounds per week. I'm hoping I keep trending down and get it to just .56 per week. I know, I'm crazy.

I'm carrying STRAIGHT out front! I'm really really really short between ribs and hips, and there is just no where else for this child to go! I've gained a little weight in the hips, but that is mostly to support the tummy, which is rather poky. To be fair, even when I was 13 yrs. 110 lbs soaking wet I still had a little tummy... I don't even have enough room for organs so it doesn't surprise me to have the baby out on stilts. (Or so it feels. )

I've gained 22 pounds - ugh. My thighs looks mamoth-huge to me and my butt, which is normally pretty round, is getting rounder and rounder. I'm not going to gain as much with this baby as with the last (40 lbs).

I'm short so the baby is pretty much taking up my entire middle. I have no waist and my belly is sticking out really far for 25 weeks.

First two times were all out in front. This time I'm all out in front AND wide.

My baby migrates. Sometimes my cervix is getting a beating, and other times (like right now) my upper tummy is getting a beating.

My belly just looks funny. If the baby is down low I look like a normal pg woman but when the baby is up high, my upper tummy if full full full and below my belly button looks like a deflated baloon!

Well as my daughters tell me that my belly is getting bigger and so is by butt. But I'm very pointy this pregnancy and probably weigh the most at this point then my past pregnancies.

4daughters, my DD told me the same thing. Gee thanks. Oh, and are you having a 5th daughter? Or will you be surprised?

I'm carrying and gaining the same as in my previous pregnancies... low with most of the weight in my butt and thighs. My face is also noticably rounder.

I believe it's all belly, and that's what my hubby and friends tell me, but they could just be being nice. Baby is low all the time, little twinkle toes on my cervix and right lower abdomen.

I'm carrying pretty high, but I'm gaining roundness in a lot of spots. I've gained a lot of weight in my legs, not just my thighs but also my calves Oh well. I need to start exercising more...I've also started getting a tad swollen on the warmer days, yikes! Where's that double jogging stroller! As for weight, I've gained about 15-20 pounds (fluctuates a bit, depending on the time of day, etc.) at 25 weeks, I'm trying not to check. Honestly, in both my previous pregnancies my practitioners started making noises about my weight gain, but I've lost it all no problem both times, and frankly, I just don't even want to know this time. I'm more concerned with how I feel...

I am carrying very high too....I don't remember the others seeming this high. Strange...or maybe I just don't remember (and I don't have any good pics of either pregnancy, darn!).

it is almost all in front...with the exception of my thighs...ugh..they are HUGE. --oh yeah, and my chest..which is normally not even an A--barely anyway--it feels huge too!

Umm, in my crotch? Seriously. This is our fifth baby in 6.5 yrs and it feels like Bean is sitting in my wooha. I have a pokey belly, but it's straight out and low.

Does anyone find that their "belly" looks different depending on how baby is positioned. This morning it was kind of firm & sticking straight out. But about a half hour later it was much less "sticking straight out" and more of a rounded curve. Is that normal? I feel kicks all over the place at different times. Just wondering if the sticking straight out thing is normal.
