In NH we always bought our syrup at the farmer's market, for $36/gal. Now I'm living in Boston and am all out of last year's syrup and need some more. I was hoping for 2 gallons of grade B, and not to spend more than $40/gal. Anyone know where I can find some?

I've been able to get it at Oakeknoll farm in Foxboro- do you have any winter/spring markets near you...? you might find some there or check http://www.farmfresh.org/food/farms.php and there's another site that lists farms etc., but I can't find it.

Probably not what you're looking for, but I've seen it at job lot (the real maple syrup, not fake kind- that I know). I don't remember the size but I think it was 17 dollars. Def not a whole gallon

Not that this helps you, but my BIL lives in Vermont and makes his own. If we go and see him at the right time, we get a jar. It's insanely good.
