I know a few things but am always wondering if I'm doing the right thing with DS (12mo, very energetic).

A good "basic" site is http://www.naturalchild.com/
I love most of the ideas there.

A book I love is Becoming the Parent You Want to Be. It's aimed at ages up to 5yrs, and has a great discipline section, imo.

Those are two ideas right off the top of my head. Hope you get more ideas!

I just love the book Adventures in Gentle Discipline by Hilary Flower. It presents everything very clearly, with lots of examples, and makes it all feel so do-able.
