Where can I get a large map of the world?

And also of the US?
My 3.5 year old has shown a keen interest in learning about places of the world lately.

I figured this would be a good forum for suggestions.

If you are a AAA member you can get national and regional maps for free at their office.
I got one from somewhere? and it has a link on it> doctorswithoutborders DOT ORG

Man, where did i get that? it must have come with something-- I checked the site out and dont think you'd be able to get a map from them. They've got some serious work going on.
how about delorme dot com? They make All maps!
I have a pretty neat USA map i got out of an October National Geographic , maybe you can find One they set aside at the library after they used the magazine?
oo thanks, guys! Good suggestions!
I got large laminated ones from Walmart.Regular price was $9.95 when I first bought it,and later on I came across the same one for 99 cents. You got a world map and a US map.Very useful maps.
We have the ones from Walmart too and I love them.
They are huge and I like the lamination.
Sometimes you can get them at Sam's club too.
Sam's and Costco both sell a two pack with large laminated maps in them - one of the USA and one of the world.
And don't forget there are placemats with maps on them. My kids love those. Walmart always has em.
skymall.com
they have a HUGE laminated/dry erase wall map.
it's pricey but it's like 9'/11'
I think it is 149.00
Wow, such a great variety of suggestions! Thanks!

I bought mine at WM during back to school time. Later they marked them down to $5.00 for the set. Very nice maps. My kids use them all the time.

I am seriously going to have to get somebody to go to Walmart for me and pay them for the stuff and postage here. LOL
We got a really bright and colorful world map on ebay, and got a big frame for it half price at JoAnns. Actually, I got the huge frame first, and found the map to fit it on ebay
I think it ended up being less than $20 total for map and frame

Someone here posted this link not long ago. You can print maps up to 7 feet wide. Haven't tried it yet but I guess you print out individual sections and then tape them up all together. They are not labeled or colorful, but I could see them being quite useful and fun, letting the kids label and color in sections, maybe add stickers, etc.

I bought a three pack that contained a large world map, U.S. map, and a large poster of flags of the world, at a home school store. But, I think it's a basic set they sell at teacher stores, etc. They are not laminated, but inexpensive and very cool.
I think the World map is about 4 or 5 feet across.
