Or at least tiny logos? He doesn't want any sports logos, and will not wear the cute slogan shirts I got him. (Too embarrassing.) I was shopping yesterday and practically everything has huge brand logos or worse. Help!

There is nothing that frustrates me more than spying a great looking SIMPLE shirt on the rack, only to find upon closer inspection that it has a HUGE logo printed on the front.

Not sure what size you need, but they are usually found in the Men's section rather than the boys/young men's section. Perhaps he might fit into a small men's size? Plain, color t-shirts are my DH's staple clothing item. He's got one (with breast pocket) in almost every color.
We've bought them at various stores... Costco, JCPenney, Target, etc., but always in the men's section.

Best of luck!

Walmart (and I assume Target and Kmart) has plain Hanes t-shits w/out any logos. They come in white and colors, they are in the mens section ususally, near the underwear and socks. They're cheap, less than 5 dollars a shirt. These aren't the thin ones that come in the packages, but real, heavyweight cotton shirts. HTH

I love Lands End stuff because they don't have logos. While they do sell some with graphics, they also have a large selection of plain colored Ts. If he's large enough, a smaller men's size may really help solve the issue. Also, Old Navy has plain, no-logo polo shirts (though not T-shirts), which is odd because they seem to be about the worst offenders on everything else they sell, especially for boys.

Old Navy has great plain t's, and they are thick and soft. I got my little boy a dozen different colors (heather grey, orange, navy, red, brown, etc) for just $2.98 each.
You can check their web site before going to the store, too.

Yeah, those are actually pretty nice shirts (and if you know his size just run in without him and pick out a bunch of different colors) I just got DH some really neat ones with a different color on the collar and sleeve hem (red and blue, gray and black, blue and red, orange and navy) and he loves them. They were all under $5, I'm sure kids sizes would be under $4 or so
