If you use bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to clean with, where are you getting it from? I used to have a health food shop who would order 5L containers of vinegar and a chemist who would order 5kg tubs of bicarb, but Swindon (predictably) doesn't have either of these things. I'm relying on the coop for vinegar (51p for 500mls) and Boots for bicarb (1.69 for 500g) which is a lot more than I used to pay.
Where should I be looking?

I buy Dri-Pak Traditional bicarb from my local sort-of pound shop for 99p for 350g which is not too bad. Our chemist sells the 500g bicarb in a plastic tub but its almost £2 and the Dri-pak works out cheaper so I just re-fill the tub!

My mum buys me 5L white vinegar from Makro. I dont know how much it costs as she doesn't let me give her any money for it.

I just searched on Hunnybeez and found this link http://www.summernaturals.co.uk/inde...index&cPath=80 depending on postage which she says is a max of £7.50 this looks like good value.

Thankyou! I see a rather large order to them in my future.

Another thank you! Been searching for that and white vinegar. Was crazy enough to carry a 4 lb box of baking soda back with me from the US! - so I'll be good on that for a while, but it was really bugging me to buy tiny jars of white vinegar at the grocery store. That site looks great for all sorts of things I haven't been able to find yet.
