I have 2 and 4 year olds. Actually not yet 4, but anyways in a size 6. I have always put them in Hannah's long pajamas, but DS at least, is wanting something with fun prints.

Where do you get good quality long pjs? I dont like Gap's, they aren't the greatest of quality and don't hold up.

It seems I've seen some in a couple of those catalogues you get in the mail that I always throw away, but I don't remember the brands!

We love on sale Hanna Andersson jammies. I've even gotten some used ones on ebay and they hold up for YEARS!

Children's Place has really good ones too though for a lot less $$$.

Around Christmas someone posted about Garnet Hill green cotton jammies on sale for $5. They are normally like $30, but I did buy several pair when they were on sale and DS likes them a lot. Soccer balls, stars, lots of different prints. I linked them, in case you wanted to look.

DS is a nude sleeper so we've never had to deal with this question, but I have in the past seen some fun ones at Children's Place. I've never actually bought anything there (too gender specific for DS) so I can't speak to their quality.

No, they don't come out with many prints. We do have stripes and a couple with prints, but I like to order a few at a time from somewhere especially Hannah's because their shipping is expensive. I liek to have at least 5 pairs each at a time. And I'm not dissin Hannah I shop their a lot. I was just asking if there was anywhere ELSE that sells pajamas

Ebay

Target - they do sell some all cotton (i.e. tight fitting) pjs, with prints (fire trucks, sports themes, etc. for the boys, no idea for the girls).

For dd, I've given up buying pjs and am now just buying oversized t-shirts (Boys' M, Girls' L-XL) for her to wear to bed. You can get fun prints in those as well.

I like these, and she has a TON of styles/prints. We have tie dyed ones, candy print, doggies, fairies, etc. hth! PS - they go on ebay occasionally, and they are available on a lot of sites, some w/free ship etc. Rugged Bear carries them, where I live.

I really like Carters, at least if you like the fleece type. My ds is a lion nut, and they had boys lion pjs.
They also had monkeys, footballs, etc

I was going to suggest Sara's Prints as well. You could check out the CDW Kids online store. They carry a lot of nice prints in pajamas, including Sara's Prints.

http://www.cwdkids.com/

I like Miniboden-the tight ones have no flame retardant--that stuff scares me! They are expensive but they have 1/2 off sales twice a year-also, ebay has a lot of Miniboden! I just ordered my son shark ones.

Kohl's has PJ's on sale for half off most of the time. They end up being $6-7/pair. They also usually have a coupon at least monthly for 15-20% off, so I stock up. They hold up well. I buy big and he has worn the same ones for 2 winters now.

THanks for the suggestions. Some of the problem is DS is a very big kid. Not chubby, but very broad and thick. What's up with the super tight jammies that dig in to his wrists

I jus tlooked at the SArah's prints...those are super!

Gymboree seem to be the best out of all the competition (gap, old navy, target) as they are thicker cotton and don't shrink up as badly. They are also cute, ds has a few pairs of the bug pj's. I still have to buy a size larger to make up for shrinkage.

Costco. They have Carter's jammies, both fleece and cotton, at various times throughout the year. They've held up really well for us and they're not $$.

Our Osh Kosh outlet has very soft cotton pajamas.

That said, they run small and shrink a lot. Be warned!

My favorite nightie we have we got from Scrapadoozer in a craft swap. I also like the jammies I got at the Childrens Place and Carter's Outlets.
