quick before i change my mind... i just decided i need a dozen preemie prefolds. (ubcpfs please) and maybe another dozen infant. who knows! anyway i feel compelled to buy some suddenly but i dont know where?

SO where do you get yours and why? Free shipping doesnt really matter to me (shipping is never free- it is reflected somewhere in those prices, right!?) But loverly soft diapers matter to me, and reasonable prices, and good customer service, fast turnaround.

also do they make preemie indian prefolds? i have never tried these. what do you suggest. midwife says i dont make small babies but i neeed a tiny prefold or 12. you know.

I am completely new to all this (in fact, I haven't even given had my baby yet ), But I bought my UBCP's at earthbaby. I got free shipping. I have only just started the intial washings, but they seem nice... I really have nothing to compare them though. Just thought I would give you an option.

I get all my basics from www.babiesinthesun.com. My last baby was 9lbs, and I loved having the preemie prefolds for that first week. Plus preemie prefolds make great mama pads.

eta: great prices, free ship, awesome customer service, etc

you should try some indians. They are sooooo soft and fluffy.

I don't know whats different about them technically, but they are definately softer and fluffier. I bought from granitesmith btw. and she was great.

I bought mine used off of wahmkitty. Shipping was free, and I got 12 for $12... if I were to buy new though, I would go to www.borntolove.com and buy some from a local wahm... Shipping to me is just SO expensive, and cpfs weigh a lot.

I got mine from granitesmith on ebay, she shipped fast I paid $26 for a dozen premium size and that included fedex shipping( I bought 2 dozen and the second one shipped for only $4).
I got unipfs they are so soft and quilt up nice. I boiled mine once (I cheated and just boiled water and tossed it over the pfs in the washer tub ) and then I washed them a few times and they were usuable but now after a bit more washing they really did quilt up nice. I don't have much to compare them to as I've only felt a few bcpfs a friend let me look at to see if I wanted those and the ub'd are softer IMO.
