I part my hair in the middle. It has been like this since my hair was long enough to part. I rarely see other middle part people. I have tried to part it on the side. It is uncomfortable and unnatural. It makes me hold my head funny. I tried it again a few weeks ago and my DH laughed at me because I was holding my head so funny. So, I want to know how alone I am.

For years I did a center part with a bun in back. Then last year I had it cut and now I wear it parted on the right side.

I dont know. I think I hang it to the side, other wise the hair flops back over. At least that's how it feels. I feel like when it is parted on the side, it gets messed up so easy. If the wind blows, it's all over. I cant get it. Is my hair unable to be side parted? My mom swears that as a child my hair grew from the middle of my head, making an obvious middle part. My mom messes things up a lot though, so that might not be true.

When styling my hair, my bangs are parted on the side, and the rest of my hair falls where it may.

Sorry, I don't have recent pictures of my hair not soaked in Faygo.

i part my hair on the side... if you want to part your hair on the side, start doing it and your hair will become accustomed to it and it will begin to feel like your natural part. your hair is just not used to it yet and falls back to the middle. if i tried to part mine in the middle, i'm sure it would not stay easily!

To the side (my left side). It just looks funny, to me, parted in the middle.

My hair wants to be parted in the middle. I am tired of arguing with my hair about this so middle it is.

I part my hair in the middle (when it's long anyway) because that's where the part is naturally.

My oldest dd does down the middle. SHE loves it that way. It would look better if she did it to the side but as she said "its how everyone else does it."

I recently shifted to parting on the side.

After years and years of struggling to make a middle part look right. My hair just didn't want to part there, I have a cow-lick or something right in the front that messes with a middle part. Side part feels way more natural, and looks better. I get more volume, as well. When I parted in the middle, I had to fight to make the part straight. After about a week of side parting, the part just "appears" on it's own, even if I've just washed my hair or it's a big tangled mess.

Dh and I were talking about this the other day. He has some bizarre idea that men part it on one side and woman on the other. I have never heard this before.

Mine's parted on the side. I have sideswept bangs and a middle part looks strange. This is where my naturally wants to go anyways. Without bangs, I have parted it in the middle.

Sometimes side, sometimes middle. I used to always part it in the middle, then I parted it on the side and got tons of "Wow you look great!" comments so I kept it that way for a couple of years. Then one day after a shower I parted it in the middle without thinking about it and decided that darn it, I like it that way even though other people apparently prefer the side-part. So now I wear it however I feel like from day to day, and to heck with the nay-sayers.

ETA: I have a widow's peak, so when I do a middle part I get that heart-shaped-face thing, which I think is pretty. I may be alone in that thought, but oh well.

I part mine down the middle. It's just cool. Nice and centered. Nice and simple. I also wear 2 ponytails (parted down the middle).

But I look prettier with it parted on the sided. Whenever I part it on the side and put a jewelled barrette everyone tells me how pretty I look. I think parting down the side looks more flippy/flirty/sexy.

Do you think middle parted folks are more no-nonsense, serious or non conventional? I've always wondered this.

I do the 2 ponytails too. And 2 braids all the freaking time. I don't know if my middle part says much about me...except maybe I never change anything.

I love wearing 2 braids, especially when I exercise -- so much more comfy than a hot fluffy ponytail getting stuck to my neck. And it looks freaking adorable if I do say so myself. Although now that I'm in my 30s I'm starting to worry about being too old to pull off that hairstyle. I figure that since I pretty much only wear it when exercising, I'm good to go -- I don't look presentable in general when I'm working out, so why should my hair be presentable?

I part on the side. I have a widow's peak, and if I try to part down the middle, the peak wants to go all to one side or the other, so it just does not work right.

I'm 30 and I do the two braids. I probably will the rest of my life. Not just when working out either. I love them. My hair is down but still out of the way.
