1) A new in package Hotsling? (Prices seem low on ebay right now)<br><br>
2) Craft supplies? (Do these do well on ebay? etsy?)<br><br>
3) Books? (Amazon? Local used book store?)<br><br>
4) Outgrown kids' clothes? (Would I get more on ebay or at a consignment store?)<br><br><br>

I like to try with the lowest cost place and move to higher cost places. The hotsling I'd definitely try to sell here on MDC. I'd try it all on craigslist first, because it costs nothing to try and you save on fees. With ebay you can see what things sell for, so I'd check out what kids clothes sell for on there and calculate the profit and estimate the same for the consignment store, see which is more likely to give you profit. Also remember the work involved - consignment store takes a lot less of your time and effort. That goes for the books too - certain books don't go for much on amazon, but old textbooks, some others do well, I would only put the ones up you are likely to get a high price on, its not worth it otherwise.<br><br>
I've only ever sold craft supplies at a yard sale.
