Hello, All!

I'm having some trouble finding a place to purchase gentian violet. I've tried Whole Foods, vitamin stores, to a name a few places.

Thanks so much for your help!

I had a hard time, too, and I never even thought about WM! I got it at the only local pharmacy around here, Duluth Rexall. Any small independent pharmacy should have it.

I'm not from Georgia, but here in Florida the pharmacists keep it behind the pharmacy counter. I have to go up to the counter and ask for it. So, if you don't see it wherever you're looking, try asking the pharmacist

The usual use on MDC is for thrush infections when you're breastfeeding.

OT but I have some ear cleaner for my dogs that has gentian violet, colloidal silver, boric acid and alcohol in it. It works like nothing I have ever seen, prescription included. It kills anything bacterial or fungal. It also healed up my new dog's infected spay incision when nothing else would. I am starting to use it on the whole family, for various things.
