i really need a longies pattern, as we have no longies for winter. but i can't afford any, so anyone know where i can get a cheap or free longies pattern, so my dh's wonderful aunt can try and knit me some?????

Or you could trade patterns or trade a pattern for something else on the TP. Just post an iso thread. Also, there's a yarn crafts board here on MDC. Stop by there and post about needing one. There's quite a few free patterns online.<br><br><br>

I've made a few using the cargo pants pattern on knitty.com (look under archived patterns). Of course I used wool instead of the suggested cotton. You can make a drawstring waist instead of using elastic if you have a preference.
