I want to get DD1 a wooden easel and was wondering if anyone has one and where you got it? I've found a few for $75 or more and was hoping to get one a little less expensive. Help!!

We bought the Melissa & Doug from Amazon on sale for $25 and free ship. I really like it because of the adjustable height. I put the chalkboard side on the lowest setting for my one year old, and the other side on the medium setting for my 3.5 year old. They include clips so you can hang paper and paint on both sides.

It's on sale for $32 right now.

The Ikea one has one chalkboardside and one whiteboardside. And they have huge paperrolls to use with the easel aswell.

We got a really nice wooden easel for our DD at Hobby Lobby. We found an online coupon (I think they have them most of the time) for 40% off and it ended up to be around $50. It has a chalkboard on one side and a dry erase on the other and a place to thread one of those big rolls of paper. It'll last DD for years!

Same as most people here, we got ours at IKEA, I think it was about $20. Not sure if they still sell them now though?
Hope you find one that does not cost you an arm and a leg! We have been searching for a while as well before we got ours.
Costco or SAMS Club have them on sale sometimes as well.

I was wondering how much it was at Ikea. I can't find it listed on the website. Our local ikea is about 1.5 or so hours away. I've never been and would LOVE to go. Can you say field trip?!?!
I'm going to check out AC Moore this weekend. Thanks again everyone!

I guess it is the same IKEA we are going to....hahaha!
When you are going, take lots of trunk space with you, you will need it, so much nice stuff you can find there!
We also got ds a nice clacker (one of those push toys made of wood) a while back, $7 and the best $$$ ever spend, he still uses it! First it was just a clacker, than a vaccuum cleaner and now it is the lawn mower, got 3 toys in one! What a bargain!
Have a fun day and take lots of patience with you, especially if you take the kids (although they have a nice play area for the bigger ones)!
