I am having no end of trouble finding a diaper that fits my ds properly. : I just bought a few very nice Cuddlebuns off the tp and they are too short, and the waist is not good. SOS fit well, particularly the hemp, but I don't have the funds to make my entire stash sos Loveybums fit, but the mediums are getting too short even though he is only 17 pounds. Help!

Which dipes are good for a long torso babe?

My ds is long and skinny too. I like SugarPeas 2 size diapers. They will fit forever too. I also like fbs, though they are a little shorter.

Long torso or long rise? I don't understand why a long torso would matter for a diaper but it could just be I am dense right now. LOL

DS has a very long rise. He's 20lbs and thin. At the moment much of our stash is Sugarpeas, Dewdrops, Patchwork Pixie and Mudpies. FMBG is too short for his rise as are Monster Baby and prefolds. For covers the best we've found are Fuz, Sugarpeas, BBH, Tuesday Bear and custom soakers. I know all of those covers are pricey, but not only does he have a long rise, but he pees through PUL and thin wool so we have to be careful what cover we put on him.

Maybe look for some used? I'm still waiting to hit 50 posts so I can see the marketplace again. :LOL

eta: if you go a size up from usual on KHW those fit ds well, too.

felicite, I guess what I meant was that from the top of his leg (hipish area) to where the diaper should cover his bum, so to the bottom of his back, he is very long, and this is actually a big problem with a lot of dipes. Some of the "large" ones don't cover his bum.

I think I am the only one in the history of diapering that doesn't like Fuzzibunz. , I find the front buckles in on my babe and it just never works.

Oh yeah, PWP works great too...and the hemp KHW work well in the right *size* but the fleece prints are definitely a bit smaller fitting.

I can never get a good fit with SP either ...you see my problem? :LOL

I think I KWYM.

I don't like Fuzzibunz. They worked well for dd but at the same time I prefer to support smaller biz. They don't work on ds so it really doesn't matter now.

DS outgrew his KHW before the others of that size because it was too short.

Try Dewdrops. Or maybe Monster Baby because they have a lot of elasticity.
