Hi Jamie,

I've always been on a quest for self-actualization and have always known that my work will be one of the most important and fulfilling parts of my life. I have always felt that I will make a significant impact in my field. However, the path that belongs to me is not clear. I'm currently at a crossroads, and have to soon make a decision that will lead me through one door or another - no more keeping a foot in each. I need to know which door will lead to a greater use of my talents - and more importantly, which will see me make a more valuable contribution.

So: am I a scientist or a philosopher?

Well you are definitely both. But I know that doesn't help you.
I do believe that being a scientist will fulfill more in you, for you and allow you to make the biggest contributions to society. I think you will thrive as a scientist. Go for it!
