We are having a girl and like two very different names. Three out four of our existing children have Gaelic names. We like Teagan Willow and we like Vivian, but we don't have a middle name yet. Which do you like better?

Hmm, to me Vivian is an old lady's name, not a baby/child's name. I like Teagan, it's not too common, and I know a female named Teagan.

Thanks for all your input so far ladies. Teagan is very definetly NOT a boy's name, although I agree it sounds more androgenous. It means "beautiful" and is only listed on the girls side of baby name lists. I think it may sound trendy, but it is not popular. I'm not completely anti-trend, but I do want a name that not a lot of children already have. I have noticed a trend of names like Ella, Eva, Ava. I love all those names, but they are just too popular with this generation of children. I chose Vivian because it is from the same era, but not overused. HMMMMM I still have to ponder.

I like Teagan. Vivian sounds old fashioned to me - not in a classic way, but like 'Mavis' or 'Mildred' or 'Norma'.

From the sound of things, Teagan would fit better with your other children's names, too.
