ok, I've gotten to the point that I'm only wearing 1 pair of earrings, which is silly, since I have about 20 pairs that I love....I also have necklaces too, but they sit in a box somewhere.....

I really want to get the 80 pocket hanging organizer -- it would be perfect for me. I love that it keeps things untangled, easy to see and inventory, and less attractive for kids to play with (because it would be in the closet hidden away. I think I would get so much more from my jewelry if I stored it that way.

I use a clear plastic flat tackle box for earrings. I one I have is similar to this one but larger:

I'd do the hanging one or some ice cube trays in a drawer.

I really like the jewel caddy. Everything would be out there where you can see it, make choices AND your necklaces won't tangle!

I have a wooden one that hangs on the wall. Its beautiful. I wish I could find/post a pic of it. I bought it at a craft fair and my grandma has one as well ( which she bought at a craft fair) I see them a lot at craft fairs in my area (Seattle) It holds a lot of earrings and necklaces and well crafted. Definitly the hanging organizor. I got one at Christmas, and I LOVE it! It's made me so much better at returning jewellery to it's rightful place, so I no longer have it in piles around the house!!
