So dh finally talked to me about a girls name. My inner name geek was thrilled
He decided that since our first daughter has two family names (one from his side, one from mine) that he wanted this baby to have 2 family names if it's a girl (our boys name is set in stone.) We agreed that Elizabeth (which is actually on both sides) would make a great sister for Sarah. So which middle name?

Elizabeth Jane (Jane is a form of my grandmothers name, Jean. Her name was Jean Elizabeth
)

Elizabeth Mary (Mary is a form of my mother-in-laws name, Marie. My 20-month-old has my mom's middle name, so dh wants to honor her, though I hate Marie.)

i had a grandmother named jane but she hated it and called herself jean. my middle name is marie...i guess elizabeth mary is quite religious to me. elizabeth fell pregnant with john the baptist then it was mary's turn. but if you like that kind of thing, go for it!
