Depends what kind of book you're looking for. Home Learning Year by Year is a very detailed outline of what subjects are "typically" covered at each level of school and suggestions for materials to use. If you're looking to design your own curriculum and want it to closely follow a traditonal college-bound sequence, then this would be a good resource.

Apples and oranges. I think you might enjoy both for different things.

Becky Rupp's book, Year by Year, isn't meant to be followed religiously at all - she just outlined a norm for you to adapt to your own child, with ideas about how to cover various subjects in a creative way if and when you want to. You can always ask you librarian to get one of the books for you. ; ) Lillian
