Junior? 300? Bigger?

dd1 has been begging for these for 4 months. She's 6 and kind of advanced in science. Her fine motor skills are up to the task.

Thoughts? Anywhere super discounted I should know about to buy them?

I just got a set, and DD1, who will be six in November, jumped right in (surprised me a bit! She's got great fine motor skills, but I'd never watched her try to follow pictorial instructions like that). We got the SC-300 set, which seems like a good size to grow with, though I didn't look much at other sets. We got it from Amazon- I have no great discount suggestions.
We got Elenco Snap Circuits and we skipped over the junior ones for the regular ones. In a worst case scenario, the child can grow into some of the functionality. From what I read, the Junior sets just offered less functionality and flexibility without coming down on the price that much. I read the reviews on Amazon to get a good idea of what was well received wrt quality. We have been exceptionally pleased with our Elenco Snap Circuits.
