It has seemed to me for a long time, that my dd has something wrong with her, but I cannot put my finger on it. I have addressed everything I can do at home, but still I can't rationalize her symptoms. She just doesn't seem like she feels okay a lot of the time. She is never really sick, no fever, no colds, no vomitting, but she just is never really content, and seems "illish" if you know what I mean. Recently we did a CBC at the last doctor visit. Her white cell count is perfect and her iron is great. I'm thinking about getting some blood work done on her, but really don't want to put her through that if it is unecessary. So my question is, if something is wrong, say with her kidneys, or liver, or some other vital organ...or if she has some health issues that we have not been able to pinpoint...would her (or could her) white cell count still be normal. Also, what bloodwork should I start with? I feel totally uneducated in this regard.

TIA.

Not sure about the answer to your blood count question, but we went through something similar to this with my dd last year. She just wasn't quite right, either, and she was extra tired all the time. After her bloodwork all came back perfect, the dr. said don't worry about it and sent us home. Of course I'm going to worry about, she's my baby! So we took her to a homeopath and after a few attempts, she finally got the right remedy and my dd was back to normal within about a week of taking it. I wish I had just went to the homeopath in the first place.
